Geoff Castle at WSU December 6

If you’re looking for an energetic and inspirational way to kick off the holiday season, I highly recommend you attend the following performance.  It’s affordable, and totally free for WSU students.  I have seen and met Geoff, and he is outstanding!  Geoff Castle is also available for K-12 school shows.  Find out more at www.academicentertainment.com. Palouse Cares December 6

It’s Palouse Cares Time!  Saturday, December 6 is the largest single-day food drive on the Palouse.  Volunteers in nearly a dozen Whitman and Latah County communities are needed to go door-to-door to collect food beginning at 9am.  In only a few hours, more than 30,000 pounds of food will be collected, and hopefully $30,000 will be raised from live and silent public auctions occurring in Pullman and Moscow. The need...

Festival Of Trees Nov 29 to Dec 13

The bottom right corner of the ad teased me with...

If you’ve purchased marketing in these, or even if you haven’t, it’s clear why phonebooks and yellow page advertising are a thing of the past, and in my opinion, a bad marketing investment. Not only...

Chicken Fried Cauliflower Rice

An excellent resource since we’ve started the transition into the Paleo diet has been The Primal Blueprint, by Mark Sisson and Jennifer Meier.  The following recipe is adapted from this book.  Why I love this:  the shredded cauliflower rice is dummy-proof.  You can’t mess it up and you don’t have to wait for the rice to cook! Ingredients 3 tablespoons sesame oil 1/2 white or yellow onion, thinly sliced 3/4...
